Final Episode missing from Season 2 DVD release

Does anyone know why the last episode(nine) is not included on the season 2 DVDs? I have the first three seasons on dvd and on s1 and s3 there were 3 discs per season, with 3 episodes on each disc, but with season 2, the final 3rd dvd only has 2 episodes (episode 7 and 8).

I thought that maybe s2 only had 8 episodes, but after checking I realised it had 9 episodes just like the others. Then I thought that maybe I was missing a fourth disc (that possibly the final episode was double-sized or something and wouldn't fit on the third disc), but no, that was definitely the last dvd in the set.

Also, according to the episode guides, Cliff Richard was supposed to be on episode 2 (of season 2), but after watching the dvd of that episode he wasn't on it.

I managed to find the answer. It seems episode two, the one with Cliff Richard's controversial appearance wasn't included in the DVD set. The one shown as episode two was actually three, episodes three was actually four and so on. I corrected the problem by returning the DVDs and downloading the proper episodes for free from a wares site. Thank god for piracy.

From the Trivia section of Episode 2.2->

"During the episode, Cliff Richard was unable to recognize his own wine in a blind taste test, calling it terrible. He was so upset that he refused to give permission for this episode to be put on DVD, so it is missing from the Season 2 DVD set."

If you select "episode guide" from Season 2 Disc 1 it only lists episodes 1 & 3, and the rest are listed correctly up to episode 9. This is for the most recent Region 1 version, so perhaps older releases listed them as episodes 1-8 with no reference to #2. The back of the boxed set also has a disclaimer on it:

"Episode 2 has been omitted from this collection due to clearance issues."

Definitely the Cliff and wine section. Not only does he not recognize his own wine in a blind taste test but says he would only pay 2.5 quid for it from Tesco in order to give it to someone he didn't like. And that was after he reminded the audience that his brand wine cost 8 quid! PRICELESS! Definitely worth downloading a copy from other sources just for that!
