Just based on the first episode, too many scenes are virtually pitch black. Conversations, chase scenes, fight scenes, sex scenes. I would not tell what was going on or who was who. Terrible. I felt like I was watching the Battle of Winterfell all over again.

shareFind the best picture setting. My TV has like 12 different built-in settings and there is often a VERY dramatic difference between some of them. Experiment!

The cinematography was great.
I also found it too dark and had to change my TV settings. With the rise in HDR programming, I suspect this will become an increasingly frequent issue for us non-HDR folk.
