Soundtrack?

OK, I will admit...
The musical/movie could have been better... but it wasn't THAT bad, and i did enjoy most of the songs in it. I love Alisan Porter's voice, and also the voices of the young gentlemen who sing the parts of Joshua and Aaron. I would actually much prefer to have this production in soundtrack form so I can listen to the music without having to watch some of the more painful bits.
However I have searched extensively for a soundtrack, and cannot find one anywhere. Not having a soundtrack released for a movie or broadway musical is almost unheard of! Does anyone know why one hasn't been released and if there are plans to release one? If so, when??

Hi sorsha,
I just posted this same question on the Val Kilmer page. I really enjoyed this DVD and the music is beautiful.

I would love to have the CD Soundtrack of this cast, with Val Kilmer, but have called all of my local music stores where I am in Canada and no one can find a listing for one.

Anyone have any idea when one will be released??

I agree...it needs a soundtrack. I haven't found one either, but this version is based (loosely) on a French musical, which has several soundtracks. The songs are completely different, but it's the same story. If you're interested, the French version is called "Les Dix Commandements"...They have that soundtrack on Amazon.com
