That was NOT a proportionate vengeful response. That was one step away from the I am going to kill our kid revenge plot. A proportionate response would have been her cheating with the other guy or divorcing him and take him for all is worth or at most maybe putting a little Visine in his glass or his food (it gives people the screaming s***) But using their daughter?
