Why do Victory's designs BITE???

Watching this for the first time....and what is with that HORRIBLE wedding dress Victory designed for the sweet plump woman in Season Two ? ? ?

Her fashion show was kind of horrible, too.

They obviously spent a lot of money on this show for wardrobe....I don't understand why that wedding dress was so dowdy and unflattering, yet supposed to be a miraculous, disaster-averting design.

The only thing worse than Victory's clothing line was Shane's drab movie score (supposedly "amazing") we heard when he was editing one scene.

I thought the same thing! Her personal wardrobe was great but the clothes she supposedly designed were so cheap and tacky.
