I've just bought series 1 of Lipstick Jungle
on DVD in a charity shop at weekend. It
was on tv a few years back so I don't remember
everything. There seems to be only 7 episodes
in the first series. This seems quite short
for an American tv series. The series ends
with Nico finishes with Kirby and goes back
to her husband Charles.

Yes there were 7 episodes in Season 1. The series was slated to have 13 episodes per season. However, due to the 2007–2008 Writers Guild of America strike, only seven episodes were originally produced for the first season.

usually American series are longer and British
series are 6 or 8 episodes long.I felt
the series had a odd ending.
