Does this whole cougar thing bother anyone else?

As a twenty-something female, I am thoroughly bothered by this cougar thing that is perpetuated by this show. Now I've heard the argument of "Men have been dating younger women for years... blah...blah" I'm not condoning that either.

My only grievance is that all of the mature eligible twenty-something men, that I would love to date, somehow end up with these older women. They say that they can relate more to these women. I argue that they have been dating all the wrong bar skanks.

Does anyone else feel that way?

The ages of the actors who played Nico and Kirby are a little more than a decade apart. It's really not that huge a stretch.

When I was younger, I thought it made little difference. As you get older, it DOES lessen the impact to have a decade's difference.

When you're in your twenties, the world of and the concerns of a 30-something are really like something existing in another dimension. If it's just sex, meh. If it's a love relationship, it's going to be rocky! Just my opinion (and experience).
