Jen Bunney's accomplishments - holy crap!

Take a look at her LinkedIn profile. She is extremely educated and successful. You would never guess by the way she is portrayed on The Hills. She has a bachelor's in neuroscience, an MBA, and is now working on a master's in public health. Her father William Bunney is a neuroscientist so I am thinking she was influenced by him.

Wow, Jen seems like a really, really smart girl. I never would have thought she had all of that education and all those published works.

Right? I know there's a difference between intellect/intelligence and being book smart - but there's no way you could get top grades in those academic fields without some intelligence! And to contribute to papers that get published! I remember in the "Lost Scenes" clip, they showed a really short snippet where Jen was saying something about the importance of getting a good education and Heidi rolled her eyes.

I haven't seen the clip, but I know what you mean about the grades and published works. I don't think all of the girls on the show are dumb, but none of them have those kinds of academic accomplishments. Heidi has a really bad outlook on school, I think. She probably would have a real and steady job if she had finished her degree.

reply

Heidi was just really lazy. All she cared about was going out and having a good time.

She never even worked at Bolthouse. The only job she's ever had and has is trying to stay relevant. She was even on the Mother/Daughter Experiment: celebrity edition, and she was a total alcoholic wreck on it. So desperate

Go Jen 

It appears she's now studying to become Doctor Jennifer Dunphy. Good for her.

As for Heidi, yep, she was lazy and I don't think she actually had a passion for anything related to what she was studying or anything academic in general. She also seemed really naive when it came to what a job in PR looked like. Working the door and fetching lunch for the boss isn't anyone's "dream job".

Spencer ended up going to college later in life and graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Political Science. I think if Heidi had any real wish to get an education, she would have done the same thing.
