There will be a HYD 2, out January 2007 :D Same cast.

Yep. So cool. I wonder why they use so old guys in the movie, like Domyoji, Rui, Akira, & Sojiro. Jun (becomes Domyoji) will be 23 in August 30! And Domyoji's supposed to be only 17! I think the cast of F4 is cool but they are too old! Shun's even one year older than Jun but he's still 23 now (b'day on December)! Now Shota (bcomes Sojiro) is just 20 (21 on September) but Tsuyoshi (becomes Akira) is already 24! They're all so old, especially Jun. His role for Domyoji is perfect but he's too old for Domyoji. Mao (bcomes Tsukushi) is still perfect for Tsukushi even though Tsukushi is meant to be 16 and Mao's 19 now (bday on January). That's bcoz Mao looks YOUNG, and so does Shota (since he's just 20 too). Jun LOOKS the oldest. Anyone agree with me??? But F4 guys also looks very old (except for Barbie even though she's the oldest, she's 30 this year!)

yay! but any rumors of what would be touched here? i meant the first only sakurako's art and the rui love triangle, here in the second, junpei's would be great.

Shrug, I don't know, maybe they based them on merit and not on age? I think it's ok lah. How many screenworks have the actors portraying characters of their exact age? It's more like give or take 5 - 10 years.

sheeesh, luke perry and gabriel carteris are almost in their 30s when they did beverly hills 90210 and the rest of the cast is in their mid 20s but that didn't stop them becoming the hottest tv series in the 90s... i don't think hana yori dango cast are that old...

How old are you, 10? I guess you haven't seen that many movies & tv shows, it's typical to use older actors for younger characters. This offers actors who are better experienced in their perspective roles instead of using some naive & lousy acting 17 year old actor.

& 23, 20 & 24 isn't old.

It's out on the Japanese newspapers, and the official HYD website...
And the HYD 2 commercials can be found on youtube.

On the official website, you can write in and request for your favourite scenes to be filmed. There're quite a few hundred entries so far.

There's so much that I want to see!!!! This is my favorite drama series ever, Tsukasa is soooo adorible, his manarisms are just hilarious!!! Now I'm really really excited, TO EXCITED.......it isn't healthy.

I actually thought they looked fine. I could understand if they were supposed to be fourteen-fifteen, and they were twenty, but they're all supposed to be in their late teens, and they're only in their early twenties. And to add to that, I think they still look rather young. Besides, people would riot if they changed the actors. :)
