This film is truly brilliant and wonderfully weird. I just saw it last night in Salt Lake City, Utah, at the 2007 Sundance Film Festival and I loved it.
Selton Mello's performance is amazing and the film is the most ironic and entertaining film I've seen so far (I've seen 13 screenings as of today) at this year's SFF.
If you get the chance, don't miss this film!
this film is amazing, to me Brazil has the best actors and amazing directors, this film has unique writen all over it! I think the "gringos" should have the chance to watch this movie, its great!!

"I WOULD PAY TO SEE THAT ASS."
One of the funniest lines in the film. And they also played it at SSFF (Southside Film Festival) in Bethlehem, PA at Lehigh University not too long ago. It was a weird, yet funny movie since all he wants to do is see her nice round bum.
Not "that ass". The Ass.
The portuguese emphasis on it got lost on translation, but he always refers to it as The Ass, in a very well defined manner.
