Olga

All over the world there are kids that are just so full of youth and are very naive about a lot of things because their lives are fortunate enough to have such a luxury. All over the world their are adults who live their lives as playful and carefree as possible.

And then there are people like Olga. When I was listening to her talk it was probably the hardest thing to watch. She's tapped into what life is truly about for kids her age and for most people. The love of family. That's all she looked forward to and for someone her age to see that family is important and so valuable it definitely brought tears to my eyes.

It's unfortunate that sometimes migrants get labeled as criminals who have negative intentions of coming to America. That may be the case, but it truly overshadows a very terrible problem, when kids are dying. This documentary was very enlightening and powerful.

The little interview with Olga was the most heart-wrenching part of the documentary for me as well.

I agree, it was heartbreaking to watch a kid like that. I had to grow up real fast at the age of 10, but even then it was nothing compared to what she was going through. I pray that she made it, and is okay today, as well as a kid can be okay that had to go through that.

Right?! I had to grow up fast to, but I'm 22 and I'm just now fighting for my family and making sure that they are prime in my life, it's almost sad when you realize that you could have forgot how cherished that can be. I know at the end it said they didn't know where she was, I'm hoping she made it too.
