Laurence Harvey tribute

I thought that it was touching of Peter to pay such a nice homage to his old friend and drinking bud Larry when he and Leslie Phillips pay a visit to the actors' chapel. We see other memorial plaques, like Robert Shaw's or Mary Ure's, but there's real focus on Larry's as it gets a close-up and we see Peter being genuinely affected by looking at it.

I thought it was a great tribute to a great actor. I've always felt sorry for Larry, because, after his premature death, not many people have fought to defend him. Daughter Domino never wanted to know who he was nor watched any of his movies. As a consequence, he has remained a victim of bad journalism and libellous accusations even way after his death. Noel Coward had once told him that people would have gotten to appreciate him more when he would have been older. He never grew old. Well, recently his widow Paulene Stone has defended him and dissed the latest catastrophic versions of "The Manchurian Candidate" and "Room at the Top". And of course there's this lovely homage by Peter. I'm sure he'll get a plaque at the chapel too.
