OK I know that 5 isn't a great rating on IMDB but given the absolute thrashing this got from the critics I would have expected a much lower rating here. Guess the types who watch these movies aren't concerned with what critics say.

shareMost critics cannot admit to liking a film that is "dumb". They most probably think that it would make them look bad, as a critic.
Of course it's not technically brilliant, but it sure as hell is a funny film. I realise it's not a sense of humour that everybody would enjoy (thus the low 5 score) but it sure doesn't deserve lower than 5.
3s are for films such as Dragons Wars and Ghost Shark, they deserve a 3. Strange Wilderness to me is on the same level as Wayne's World.
Then how do you explain WAYNE'S WORLD having good reviews?
