...Without Steve Zahn. I like the guy, but his comedy is nowhere on par with the other, funnier cast members. I think he really held this movie back.

The first time I watched it I would have agreed with you. But the second time I totally disagree.

Nobody in the movie is funny, because of bad writing and directing. But I felt Zahn was the most passable one. He has that loveable loser charm.
shareI don't agree at all. I love Steve Zahn. His narration of the nature clips were hilarious and his attempting to talk to Spanish-speakers by raising his voice an octave kept me laughing. And don't even think of his voiceover with the shark teeth near the end. Hilarious. The other guys were just standard stoner jokes. funny, but nothing new.
shareZahn is the least of this movies problems honestly. He can be hilarious if given the right material. The cast is pretty great in general, and just waiting around for some funny writing, but it didn't really happen. It reads like a first draft that some amateurs wrote and handed in to the studio, who never had comedy pros polish it afterwards.
