The water came out of the fishtank, and the fish too, so it was regular aquarium temperature.
The bubbles weren't from the bong-water boiling - it was just smoke passing through it. Also the bong was clean so the bongfish wouldn't be poisoned by bong crud.
My friend Bernon the Bongfish used to take a quick dip in the double-bubble waterfall before going back to his fishtank a little hazy...but in theory THC isn't water soluble.
