First movie was ok although not great.
Second was poor.
Third was even worse aside from the flashback points to the best movie.
This is starting to feel like someone made one good movie, it was successful then they decided to bleed the brand name dry with a load of quick fire sequels.
Do the rest get better?
Hmm, you may not like the other ones. They sort of get gradually worse, unless if there was something that you liked in the previous 3 instalments that is focused in one of those. The fourth and fifth were pretty decent although I liked it better when Jigsaw was alive. Saw VI was also one that respected the first 3 movies and how they tie in with that one. Saw: The Final Chapter, however, was a hit and miss. I won't spoil it since you haven't seen the movie but that one was probably the only one that I can agree with that is quite bad. So, my final answer is you could check them out if you don't wanna miss out but have low expectations. Me, personally, I really like this series, even if it's got it's flaws.
