Bobby Smith was a dirty player

I always liked Shep Messing, but to see Bobby Smith in the movie was dissappointing. He was a very average player who was basically cheapshot artist. I remember seeing him play in St. Louis when he played for the Philadelphia Fever in the MISL. He deliberatly tripped Steve Pecher into the boards and split his head wide open. I wish I they would have edited him out of the film.
