When they lost 9-2....

I can't remember whether it was Wisconsin or Minnesota, but they lost the first leg 9-2. Then it showed them scoring a few goals in the home leg and the v/o said "The 4-0 win was enough to earn victory" or something. How could that be?

No movement on this board since December last year, so I'm not expecting miracles!

Thanks Eff, nice to see you! Been meaning to write to you.

Did you see this film? Carlos Alberto's shoot-out goal was indeed a thing of beauty - he started his run by scooping the ball up, then kept it bouncing till he got to the keeper and lobbed it over him. Impossible to save unless CA miscued. Needed nerves of steel, which he obviously possessed.

Hope you're not taking any crap back in that other place!

basically, they didn't aggregate the goals over the 2 legs to get a winner. If they split the games 1 a piece, then they went into the mini-game.
