Anyone else agree there's a resembelnce?

I thought this theory was particulalry reinforced when there were segments about him taking over the Cosmos, and stuff like when he got that Pepe guy (or whatever his name was) to carry a TV to his room at night in a dressing gown, and when he came out with quotes which went something like: "If you don't have an ego, you don't get nowhere in this game, my friend".

Tony Soprano is a nicer person, from appearances, though!

Peppe Pinton was the name of Giorgio Chinaglia's close friend. I think the Cosmos made Peppe an executive with the team to appease Chinaglia. And it was Peppe who ended up owning the rights to the Cosmos' name after they folded in 1985. Before becoming an executive with the Cosmos Peppe owned and/or managed a restaurant. Please click on
