I swear I heard it too. It was like the phantom fart - many heard it but many didn't.

shareI don't think she really farted, was sound effect.Because she on the set in the tub.Most people do fart in their own tub at home but no one knows that you farted.At your place of work people are aware of the body functions though.
It would be very hard to FART at the office in a cubicle or at a confernce meeting with the VP.So farting on set would of been hard to do unless one fart got passed you.
The fart was a gag in the film.

shareYeah, I didn't even notice the first time I watched. When I saw this thread I went back to the bathtub scene and she really *did* fart! I was so funny! Can you imagine - farting in front of your employer - it must be very awkward!

I had the subtitles on and it said "Farting". A silly gag that I would have missed if not for the the subtitles. I didn't hear it!
I'd drink Scarlett's bath water even if she had taken a dump moments before and forgotten to wipe her butt. I'd sniff her fart bubbles.

I noticed that too! I was like omg did she just fart?? That was awesome that they would have a pretty girl do that. Just goes to show, we're all human.
