I loved this film

Being a big BC fan I found this film very funny, I am not sure if the people who said they didnt like it really got the film, to me I think it is made to be bad, that is the charm of it and bruce really hams it up which is what he is best for, I love the little nods to other BC films and I love BC's mad laugh and noises he made, truly an amzing film to not only BC fans but also to B movie fans. BC you are a true legend.

I think this movie appeals to Bruce Campbell fans that get the joke. Not everyone can appreciate what he is doing, just like not everyone can appreciate the beauty of movies like "Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon", or Jackie Chan films that have not been made in the USA.

I really would think this movie could stand on it's own as a
horror/comedy spoof, but I guess being a huge BC fan affects
my opinion. I loved it, hilarious flick.

Maybe it's the saké talking, but this is the best movie I've seen all day.

Fecking great film, watched Man With The Screaming Brain last night, this tonight, what tomorrow? Who knows.

To me, this movie is a love letter to the fans. Lots of inside jokes/gags (i.e. Ted Raimi shemping, Tim Quill from 'Army' and Jake from 'Evil Dead II', Ellen Sandweiss from 'Evil Dead'), BC riffing on his not-so-great movies and saying lines we all know and love....and then some! It's tongue-in-cheek and it's fun, and all in good fun!

reply

Exactly mulder...it's one big inside joke that Bruce pulled off perfectly. This movie is hilarious!!! I feel bad for people who don't get it. Watching it now and am busting up.
