The only filmmaker I trust to make a feature length based on or around events in Final Fantasy 7. His mastery of animation, character, and story would make for an interesting film at the least. I think it would be awesome if the script was good.
shareI only agree to the extent that both Miyazaki and FFVII are brilliant in their respective ways...other than that, I think his fantasic, whimsical way of storytelling would get in the way of FFVII's dark and despotic story. The combination would be strange, but totally awesome nonetheless.
