If Preston died in the game? He didn't die in the movie but I think he did in the game.

I think he did die cuz' Jimmy said that he was the last one.

Well at first I thought he died but when I played the game for the second time I noticed:
When Jimmy, Preston and Lumpy are standing on the bridge the V Rex attacks them. He kills Lumpy, Jimmy falls down but Preston is still standing on the top, starts shooting and then he vanishes. So maybe Jimmy did just not know what happened to Preston?
And if you check the article on wikipedia, it says that you can see Preston after they capture Kong. So I played the level in which Kong is lying on the beach after they attacked him with the chloroform and if you look closely, one person sitting in the row boats (which are coming to the beach) looks pretty like him.
Just keep swimming...
