I loved Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay. Though technically not a direct play-through of events in the movies (maybe that's a good/bad thing, depending on one's opinion of the movies), the game's storyline was a prequel to "Pitch Black." Most movie games/movie tie-ins generally suck. But COR:EFBB had great graphics, great story, great gameplay. I liked the game better than the movies.
I don't know what defines a "movie" game, anyway, since most games take a lot of liberty with the a movie's storyline in the first place, usually to make the gameplay more compelling or to stretch a 2-hour movie into an 8+ hour experience.
BEST movie/movie-related games:
1. Chronicles of Riddick (PC)
2. King Kong (XBOX360)
3. Spider Man 2 (XBOX)
4. Goldeneye - we still dust off the N64 for 4-player fragfests.
5. Aliens vs. Predator 2 - okay, definitely just a license of movie property, but...wow.
WORST games:
1. Trespasser (Jurassic Park license)(PC) - could've been great, but most PC's ran it with a framerate like a slide show.
2. Die Hard: Nakatomi Plaza (PC)
3. The Sum of All Fears (PC)
