I know that Samuel L. Jackson is A studio exec, director, producer's fave -- I'm not sure the public feels the same.
He plays the same kind if character in every movie - someone above the law, angry, obnoxious, and that voice of his is like nails on a chalk board.
I have never really seen much range in his characters - and really, why the white hair?
I'm really just tired of him being in almost any and every movie.

shareThe only things I liked him in were "Pulp Fiction", because it was the first of the "same old same old", and his character in "Django Unchained", where he moved seamlessly from an "Uncle Tom" caricature to the guy really behind the throne. Aside from that, I've frankly had enough of this guy.

I feel the same about Tom Hanks, but because he just been around too long and is in too many movies. He’s a McMovie Star: very familiar and acceptable, but not outstanding. “Life is like a box of chocolates”? Gag me.
