I'm just curious as to who the girl and the dog were on the video?

The woman in the video was his case worker in prison (Philomena I think he called her). From what it showed of them, they got married. The dog was theirs, called Scraps. The room he was in when he watched the video was their bedroom I believe.
Not sure if you saw an edited version, but in the one I just watched, they showed this just before the Katrina bit, as part of the flashback scene.
