Why do they call him "Windows"?
It's a reference to the movie The Thing (1982). There is a character with the same name in that film who constantly wears sunglasses, inside or out, day or night. The character gets the nickname in this film because he wears large thick glasses. (also possibly because he's always on his laptop, his nickname refers to the operating system).
They really should've had a line where someone said to him "Stick to it, Windows! Stick to it!" ;-)
