As a standalone film...

It’s not terrible. It’s glossy, overproduced teenaged horror porn with plenty of guts and bad acting. It’s the cinematic equivalent of commercial pop music, in a fashion. I knew going in that it would suck, but I was blown away by how bad it was. Of course, in the back of my mind, I was still comparing it to Romero’s Day, which I promised myself I wouldn’t do.

Taken alone, it’s not the worst movie. I wouldn’t watch it again, though.

It's still terrible.

CG GORE IS THE WORST THING THAT HAS EVER HAPPENED TO THE HORROR GENRE!

Half the movie is about getting the mom to the hospital. The world is ending but the characters don't have any sense of urgency in whatever they are doing. I hated it.

High praise indeed.

It still is a horrible movie, no talent whatsoever on display. But yeah, you are right there ARE worse movies. Not many, but there are.

This movie is like a piece of gum sticking to your shoe. Totally worthless.
