I have only seen a little bit of this so far, the bit when they play intergalactic and the chaps are running about in the crowd, obviously they need security as there was 5 billion people wanting to shake their hands or give them some amazing lyrics or whate----skip to the end...

I noticed that the security all seem happy, what's going on there, is that a US thing? Security here in the UK are almost always the most miserable pissed off people the venue can find. Or was it just cos the beastie boys are funny to listen to?

It's probably because the Beastie Boys use their own security people. I currently live in Baltimore, MD, USA and there's a local club that sometimes gets relatively big name acts. The head bouncer of the club NEXT TO that club is a friend of my fiance & I and sometimes he hooks us up with shows (and free parking--love it!) We heard that the Beastie Boys were in town to do a surprise show (we heard too late--it was sold out!!) and asked our friend. He said that there was no way around it because the Beastie Boys were using their own people.
