I LOVED "The Return" and absolutely hated "The Banishment", I am not so sure why people are praising this? Yes there are a few nice shots and stuff like that, but come on guys this movie was horrible really.

Agreed. Visually great but that was about it. I couldn't feel for any of the characters. Pretty one-dimentional although the director seemed to be trying to make it something deeper. Some of the people in the theater snickered when the wife was going "Kahlil Gibaran" about the child (you know, the "Our children are not ours" part near the end). lol I almost did, too.
