Ending Interpretations...Spo ilers

I felt the film was a good one but the ending left so much open and I could not make up my mind what was going on. It seemed to indicate she was coming to her senses about what she had done and maybe realized she had not thought how this would effect her husband whom was willing to forgive her. It also could have been she will take the kid up on his offer and go to Brazil.
I think the first statement seems more plausible. Anyone else out there has an opinion.
