A lot of inaccuracies

I think it didn't work as well as it could have, had the filmmakers taken the time and/or inclination to depict a much greater biographical and historical accuracy. The most heartfelt biopics are true to the life of the subject. There was some passion in the acting overall, though a little more somber than St. Anthony of Padua is generally remembered. Better to celebrate faith than mourn it, the beauty of Francis and Anthony lies in their joy amid suffering, e.g., Zeffirelli's "Brother Sun, Sister Moon."
