I guess if you consider Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Queer As Folk, Lives of the Saints, Band of Brothers and Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle.... commercials then yes they have been doing TV commercials. I think the show is well written and well acted.

Well the show still sucks. And whats the point of it coming back for a second season, if no one watches it anyways. The only reason I've tuned in the odd time was to try to recognize the office towers which can be seen from the window offices.

First off the show is funny and there are plenty of folks who watch it. Just because you don't doesn't mean no one does, I would've thought that was obvious. Either - A - you are a prude who thinks that the show airs unpolitically correct behaviour or B - You have not in fact actually watched an entire episode of the show. One can not say a show sucks until watching a minimum of 3 episodes and has actually paid attention to the dialogue. Either way you need to lighten up.
And as for the actors being nobodies who have done commercials for the longest time? Again, I would've thought common sense would prevail and show the obvious.
Clearly if they have been doing it for the longest time, they aren't half bad. And for that matter, Jennifer Baxter is the only one who has really been in many different commercials. And that's because --- ready for it??? She can deliver a line.
Oh and by the way, WHO exactly are you? Yeah that's what I thought. A nobody without a television career who has nothing better to do than bash those that do.

No bud, I did see a few episodes, and my comment about the show was based on facts that I picked up from watching the show.
A) The show has already been done. Not just the office politics I mean, but also the story line. The whole chocolate covered nuts things, and how they sold out quickly has been done before. The office romance with the cleaner, thats been done before. The competition, in this case the fusbol, has been done before.
B) The actors cant act. Ms Baxter has this lost look in her face, like she doesnt know how to act the part. Ironically, she has to play the dumb blonde, so her lack of perception actually comes in handy on the show.
C) The actors have all been recylced through Canadian commericals. Im sorry, but after ppl have seen you countless times on commercials, then they tend to not enjoy watching you act on a sitcom. These actors should have simply been more selective in the commercials then worked in. If Ms Baxter or her agent tried to land her some TV roles other then commercials, she might actually have a career by now.

Well the blonde in question is not infact a 'dumb' blonde and you would know that if you had actually watched a show. Shes just a mean closet lesbian.
Also, why does it matter if the actors have been in anything big? Personally I don't care what they have done before as long as what they are doing now is good. The writing is smart and its one of the few non-cartoon comedies out there right now that actually pushes the limits.
Also its on Showcase Sunday nights right before Huff, you can't go wrong.
I'm actually liking BA. I wasn't so keen on the first season, but what we've seen so far from the second is actually making me laugh. Last Sunday's ep was hilarious!
I don't know what the other person was talking about. Some of the actors involved have pretty successful careers.
I am not a big fan of this show but it's a lot better than a lot of the crap on Canadian TV. Most of the stuff on the Comedy network is garbage, it's weird how Bravo can make much better comedies than the station devoted to comedy! Trailer Park Boys is amazing for one.
Anyway I'll give this show another chance for season two, I doubt it will last past that unless it improves but give it a chance.
One thing I do like about the show is the Claxton III character (Brandon Firla), I think he can be very funny.

No my issue was not about actors doing commercials. My issue was with THES Eactors doing commercial in nasuem on Canadian TV. And on the flip side there is the issue of Canadian TV recycling the same B actors over and over again in commercials.

I don't think it's very funny but it's not that terrible. There are much worse shows and I am just talking about Canadian TV here. Or haven't you seen Air Farce? If you don't like it just do what I do and don't watch it. Problem solved!! One note, I hate HATE the character Murray he is so annoying. And it's weird how one lead is so short when the other guy is so tall, it looks like a guy and his kid.
