He's the only nerd on television that doesn't follow the Hollywood stereotype. The faux British accent, the melodramic mannerisms, goth looks, fascination with morbid zombie movies. Sure beats the thick glasses and pen protector type still being used since Revenge of the Nerds.

Unfortunately, actor David Alpay was unable to return to his role as Roderick due to a scheduling conflict with his role on The Tudors. There was a third season script featuring Roderick but it had to be rewritten. David's Roderick was just too good to recast!
