Does Carly quit being a detective at the end? Just asking bc she is reading to those children at Safe Harbor at the end of the movie. I thought maybe she just volunteers her time every now and then but is still a detective, especially since she has been one for so many years. I can't see her quitting her job, I mean Ms. Wyatt didn't leave the place for her to run did she? I was confused about that will. Also that lady Ms. Thorpe (Sam did not get a chance to kill her, bc Carly came in just in time, it looked like that Ms. Thorpe was just knocked out from the strong grip Sam had on her) didn't die at the end so I'm sure she probably was still running the place. I wish they would've explained the ending more bc it made you think she quit being a detective. I'm just going to go w/Carly volunteering her time every now and then ....
