Is this movie real? What the hell? How can you make fun of penguins? This is utterly flawed.

The Scary Movies, Date Movie, and Not Another Teen Movie are all very vulgar, but still funny, because they're making fun of ridiculous genres and exploiting cliches within those genres. It's a fictional parody of fiction, and that's what makes it funny. There's also the burn-factor, where they get in digs against lead actors and actresses who were stupid enough to take those idiotic roles.

But... penguins? Honestly? They're making fun of a DOCUMENTARY about birds? What does anybody have against penguins?

Whatever, movie. I'm not watching you.

No, you are utterly flawed because actually they are just using penguins as a medium. 'Farce' is making fun of the people that flocked (get it? FLOCKED!) to go watch March of the Penguins (and other recent penguin movies.)

March was a *beep* documentary about mean, smelly birds that portrayed them as a creature capable of cognitive emotion. There is no love between these animals, at least not in the human sense of the word, not like the producers of March wanted you to believe. March of the Penguins was such bull, that it is the Valentine's Day of documentaries.

Farce of the Penguins isn't really about making fun of the creatures themselves, but really just a jab at the idiocy of people.

Well-said, and exactly right. Watchiing the idiotic nature programs that keep attributing human characteristics & emotions to everything from penguins to cockroaches is enough to make me blow lunch. They're goddam ANIMALS, and anyone who's lived in the wilderness or on a farm knows the difference.

Unfortunately, "nature programs" have deteriorated into little more than environmentalist propaganda, put together by yuppie scum trying to push their vegetarian agenda on another generation of moronic kids. It'll probably work, too.

Bitter much? A "vegetarian agenda"? Really? Never heard that one before.

That said, any dog owner can tell you that animals can and do express emotion. Unless you count fish. Them buggers don't express jack *beep* Me thinks it's the lack of eyelids or eyebrows or something.
