any particular reasons the penguin's furs 'down there' is yellow?

Hope this doesnt sound immature. I'm just kinda curious if any one knows. It's not because their urine colored it i hope?
I'm not a perv. Its just that they kept showing close-ups down there and i happened to notice.

well if it is down there
then it must be because of the urine

It stands in contrast to the snowy white pelts on display in MARCH. Fact is, penguins are dirty birds. They have been known to eat their own feces, and certainly don't mind standing around in their own pee and poop. MARCH offered a sanitized, Disney version with no pee or poop evident. Some scebes in FARCE computer-colored in the urine color to make certain scenes more offensive.

Thanks,xredgarnetx.
So in another word, its yellow down there because of the urine? I wasnt sure you see 'cos they have the same yellow fur on their heads too..

Penguins are birds, so there is only one outlet. There really isn't any urine, just bird poop. We have all seen bird poop - on the windshield, picture window or our shoulder. It kinda changes color depending on what the bird is eating. Around here I've noticed that when the blackberries are ripe all over town, all the bird poop is purple.

Maybe eating fish makes poop yellow.

Actually, eating oily fish like roughy can make your poop look like an orange oil slick. Why not the same for birds?

The gene pool could use a little chlorine......

Feathers, not fur. Penguins are birds, thus they have feathers.
