Pla is still alive: Clark is a liar

Pla is alive and well and married to a farang. She never died. Clark made this up. I have proof that she is alive, she is living in Europe.

reply

I'm sure you're right.I would love to see the proof though.

talk about cynical...

reply

Well?
You have made the claims. Now the burden of proof..is on you.

So? Where is this proof?

Vicious fish bit at your toes...made you lie and numbed your soul.

reply

Stop playing immature games.

Show the proof or stop making claims.

reply

Whether its a lie or not... I hope she's alive. That film made me so sad after.

"Dope sick? Dope schmick!!"

reply

Did Clark ever show proof? Any photos? Death certificate? Anything. I tend to believe this guy over Clark. Clark already had told numerous lies about Thailand in his extremely one sided and irresponsible movie that I doubt he would saved the final moments of the film to be honest for a change. Clark is a douche and his movie was garbage.

reply

Photos of what? Her dead body? What do you suggest? That he should have shown her dead body in the film? Ever heard of ethics? Also, where should he have gotten any pictures from? Same goes for the death certificate. You can't just waltz to the coroner and demand official papers. It's none of his business. Even if he had gotten these papers, it doesn't automatically grant him the right to broadcast this to the world.

In the end, you have to ask yourself: Why would he make that up? The story is sad enough as it is. It wouldn't have needed a dead girl to convince the viewer of the horrible conditions these women have to work under.

Also, what lies did he tell? What about the film was one-sided? You're attacking it to side with baseless accusations of the op who delivered no proof for something that sounded like it would be easily provable, yet you yourself offer no information or proof for your own accusations.

For someone who's acting like the reincarnation of the Spanish inquisition, you're surprisingly lackluster when it comes to scrutinizing your own claims.

reply

You're the liar, you douche.

reply

No, he might be telling the truth. Look at the cast, "Pla" was apparently played by Sirirat Rapsithorn?

reply

If Pla is played by an actress is this a drama, a documentary or a mockumentary? Sometimes a filmmaker cannot get the footage needed for a documentary, but there is still an issue worth presenting. Nevertheless, pseudo-documentaries create so much confusion they shouldn't even be allowed.

It would be considered unethical for Documentary filmmaking to manufacture events, such as Pla being killed after the filming, so let’s hope Jordan Clark didn’t undermine his credibility and emotionally manipulate his audience in that way.

If it's drama he can do anything he wants for the sake of the story. So which is it?

reply

She's not an actress, you moron. That was her real name.

reply

"She's not an actress, you moron. That was her real name."

No one could make heads or tails out of your post. She? That? Who? Might as well write it in Thai since you claim to be able to clear up confusion a lot of viewers had with this film but are merely insulting and incoherent.

reply

The post is perfectly clear. The problem is on your end. Sirirat Rapsithorn was Pla's full name. Pla was a nickname.

Don't assume what everyone else understands. Others here are certainly brighter than you are.

reply

"No, he might be telling the truth. Look at the cast, "Pla" was apparently played by Sirirat Rapsithorn?"

I thought about this but then if she really died, printing her real name would be only a fitting tribute and a chance to recognize her as a real person and perhaps some financial compensation for her family if the director was so charitable. Really hard to know the truth until someone produces some hard proof. The death seems suspiciously coincidental and convenient but maybe she really did piss off some of the local underworld figures by participating in this.

reply

In Thailand, many of the girls have nicknames they go by. One reason they do this is because farangs can't pronounce the long complicated names they have. I'm sure if it is all real. That Pla could in fact be Sirirat Rapsithorn.

reply

In Thailand, everybody has nicknames, not just the girls !

reply

It has nothing to do with farangs. They call each other by those nicknames.

And everyone in Thailand has a nickname. Even the Prime Minister. There's more to the country than bargirls and thinking about what 'farangs' want all the time, y'know.

reply

Sirirat Rapsithorn is simply Pla's real name!
FYI "pla" in Thai means fish. It's not her name, but a nickname she used at the gogo bar.
Most Thai people use such nicknames, esp when they have to deal with westerners who could never remember real Thai names.

Also, 11 years later, and not one shred of evidence that she's alive: no pictures, no testimony from any of her relatives, nothing! Just anonymous rumors propagated by disgruntled sex tourists and sexpats who are trying to convince themselves that somehow they are the victims in this story...

Plus, if she was alive and if the documentary had deliberately lied, then they'd be liable and could lose a lot of money in a lawsuit. Has anyone sued the producers or the channels who broadcasted it? No!

reply

Pla is her nickname, all thais goes by a nick name.

Hi Cliff

I am a retired highly educated & Life Servig Samaritan moved long & profoundly by PLA (Sirikit Rajisthorn) in "Bangkok Girl". The Report of her Unexplained Death has been searing for many years. Is she truly alive, happy & no longer in need. The on-line feedback is often nauseating, inhumane, sickening, facile, self-excusing, Philistine & researching the confusion has returned no definitive facts. For me Pla is emblematic of all those in need so many who I helped. If she lives then may she & her family feel free to email me totally confidentially on [email protected]. As one of the truly caring giving humans, I am in a position unconditionally to give all help & support she & her family may need. My assessment was that she was a totally genuine BEING, lost beyond insensitive Western understanding.

If she lives & DOES need unconditional help then that she truly is Sirikat Rapisthorn would need unequivocal authentication.

This quest to bring greatest Life fulfilment may well attract opportunist pretenders which would be trashed by those who authenticate that Pla is ALIVE as to the depth of my Heart & Being.

At all times the confidentiallies of all involved must & will be absolute to ensure only "Heart" drives this Pure Samaritanism in a material, non Buddhist Barbaric World where Predators succeed more & more.

With my Heart & Soul, PLA I hope I (we) are in time. If you have passed, in bitterest tears I most carry your burden for how this cruel world treated you, as you smiled nobly to that world from the Buddha within.

Truth, Beauty & Love in Reverence for the Priceless Gift of Life

Ron
