shareAlma (your mother) is using Paxton Fettel (your brother) to control the soldiers to whatever end and you are attempting to stop them so i would guess that she wants you dead because you are KILLING HER DAMN SOLDIERS. lol

shareWell i havent played the expansion pack (i am on 360) so i can only tell what i understand from the main game.
Alma (your mum) wants revenge on pretty much everyone that wronged her so she is psychically manipulating Paxton Fettell (your bro) who in turn we are told is able to telepathically control an army of clone-soldiers. So Paxton (under the influence of Alma) is killing people and you (not knowing about the family connections) are sent as part of F.E.A.R to stop Paxton from using the clone-soldiers to kill people.
So you are in direct opposition to Alma and Paxtons plans and therefore they want you dead. I am sure that under normal circumstances Alma would not want you dead but seeing as how you are bringing down her plans she really has no choice besides theese are not normal circumstances.
Your idea is very interesting and may be true, although personally I simply believe she's in a state of blind, insane rage and would kill anything in a 5 meter radius.

I think she tried to use fetal to convince u to join her in death but once u kill fetal and go and try to blow the place up she then pretty pissed off at u so there for she'd wanna kill you
shareI've now beaten the game and the cut scenes where she yells "my baby", and "where are you taking him" leads me to believe she wants you back probably to communicate with you through death like she does in the expansion pack with Fettel. Plus, in the end of the Expansion pack Fettel says they would dominate the world together.
