Report from Cannes screening

Managed to catch the Cannes screening a few days ago.

First the audience was introduced to the director who spoke about her movie for a few minutes. And after that I saw one of the better films I have seen this year.

The performances are outstanding as both Morton and Patric really shines throughout.

There are lots of laughter in the movie and still there is a dark undertone of people searching for love and themselves.

I felt Cecilia Magliucchi created an atmospehere a bit like Michael Gondry's or Paul Thomas Anderson's (Punch Drunk Love...), but that is only my personal opinion.
