Jason Patric smiling?

This is being billed as a comedy, so to all those out there who have already seen it, does Jason Patric actually smile on screen? It must be the first time right?

Its more of a drama than a comedy. More like Punch Drunk Love than Waterboy.

And Jason Patrics character doesnt really smile at all in this movie. :)

Yes! If one looks closely he did smile on several occasions.

I just saw it, did not see a smile on his face the entire time.

He does smile, but it took a few attempts for me to believe he actually meant them. Like when he smiled at her mom, I thought he was just faking it and was going to say something mean about her through his teeth, yet he ended up genuinely seeming to like her and actually said so.

He smiles a couple of times; once at the office Xmas party when he comes up to her after he finishes dancing with someone and tells her what shes missing; also when they exchange Xmas gifts at her house.. she gives him his and he smiles (surprised). Other than that, not at all.
