Saving The Planet is NOT a Political Issue.

Seriously, wtf are you people thinking?

Tom Robbins said it well-- “…it is futile to work for political solutions to humanity’s problems, because humanity’s problems are not political…"

It is not a political issue, yes. But the *Beep* are using it to create wars (soon they will invade Brazil and take over the amazon - as the trees will be the new "oil").

And I can't stand people who "suddently" jumped the shark after seeing Al Gores movie.

We've had this global warming issue for the last 50-60 years... I sure as hell didn't see anyone of you in here talking about that 5-7 years ago on imdb.. gee I wonder why.

hypocracy at work....

Latest retard (scientist) wants to take "care" of all the cows in india, by removing their natural produced gas...... I just love humans.. now were trying to control mother nature

"Wait!" "Worry" "Who Cares?"

Congratulations: you have been thoroughly brainwashed by the media! If you were a little older... maybe even alive in the 1970's, you would remember that the wise scientists were all in agreement that the Earth was heading into another ice age.

The whole global warming issue was simply dreamed up by the petro-chemical industry who realised that their party would end rather soon unless they could find a way to slow down the consumption of crude oil derivatives. Thus, we suddenly saw the likes of Shell and Texaco funding scientific research into global warming, and only publishing the reports that fit their agenda.

And of course our governments love this, as it gives them carte blanche to keep us pre-ocupied while they fritter away our economy and take away our rights to privacy.

Thus, in London UK, you can't walk more than 50 yards without being caught on 10 different security cameras, you might have anything up to 3 different kinds of dustbin for the various recyclable waste (that is actually shipped overseas to landfill sites or left to rot in huge warehouses), our ISPs snoop on all our Internet traffic and save it for the spooks and our economy is now in utter ruins.

Not political indeed.

Of course saving the planet is a political issue. All sides will agree that the planet needs to be protected. But how do we save it, and how much money and effort do we need to invest? That will always be up for debate.

Please don't reply to explain your theory on how to save the planet. I doubt we're going to solve that issue in the IMDB forums. I simply wanted to point out that it is inevitably political.
