According to the manga, Watanuki is really [spoiler]

If you read the manga on xxxHolic, I heard a rumor that Watanuki is really the son of Syaoran and Sakura? True or not?

True, but from the "Card Captor Sakura" Sakura and Syaoran, though it's a little more complicated.

Watanuki is in fact Syaoran(TRC), he was created to fill the void left from Syaoran giving up his memories and for the time he used to save TRC Sakura.

So, Watanuki becomes the "true" son of CCS Sakura and Syaoran because Syaoran's bonds never existed.

I see and I'm a bit confused on the TRC side of Syaoran if he's really a clone or something w/c I'd just knew it that he had a clone brother mentioned on that manga but not on xxxHolic and CCS.

The Syaoron that we see through the first half of the manga is a clone. In fact the Sakura that was in the first part was also a clone.

Near the end, Syaoron(the real one) wanted to turn back time to save Sakura, but by doing so he had to giveup his memories, as well as his bonds to his parents and friends. But because the void that Syaoron would leave would harm space-time(or something) Watunaki was created to be a place holder, in so doing became Syaoron himself.

According to Yuko, because Watanuki exists, his parents died. So he feels guilt, though he has no memories of them, and is coming to suspect that he shouldn't exist.

As someone who's only seen the xxxHolic and Tsubasa animes and not the mangas, this comes as quite a surprise. It doesn't seem to make much sense to me either.

I didn't like Tsubasa OVA. I really didn't like finding out that Syaoran was a clone and seeing my precious Fai turn into a one-eyed vampire. In the end, things seemed to be much worse than when it began >.< Oh, but this thread is about the xxxHolic movie, so I apologize for digressing.

Maybe I should just read the mangas so this will all become clear to me, but I've never really thought I could enjoy one. Maybe because I haven't before. As a lover of anime, perhaps I should.

Sorry for the length, I know I didn't answer your question. Just rambling!
