Canadian release? - Closing the Ring (2007) Discussion

this movie played at the Toronto film fest in September 2007. Still no dvd release yet. I am waiting for the dvd release I really want to see this movie and parts of it were filmed here in my home town of Paris Ontario.

I know, i defiently want to see it too! im also waiting for the dvd release because parts of it were also filmed in my home town of Dundas Ontario. i believe they use the old 50's restaurant we have, its seen in the previews of a main street and an antique sign up above the restaurant

this was filmed right down the street from me in Belfast, N. Ireland, so it was great to see it back in November at the premiere here.
From what I hear it will be getting released in the U.S/Canada this year, but not sure when. Most likley in the 2nd quarter

Ha! 2nd quarter?! I highly doubt it will be released in the U.S. & Canada by the end of June. You haven't the slightest idea, do you? I think not. Last quarter is more believeable. I'd even believe the third -- between July and the end of September-- but not the second quarter, geesh! Heh, heh.

So what is the slightest idea? Alien vs Predator: Requium was released on December 25th...and its already made it out onto DVD.

I don't think any of us knows for sure when this film might make it out on to DVD.

It's now out in limited release in Toronto (Cumberland 4 - Alliance until Thursday) and starting this Friday at Carlton.

There is now a Canadian DVD release date of January 27th.
