Misha Barton can actually act?!

I saw this by chance, and it is a dire film. Poor writing and sentimental. And bar the usually great actors, Shirley, Pete, Chris - the acting is awful. Almost all the younger actors here are wooden and their experience shows - usually a good director helps bring out the performances, but clearly Dickie was elsewhere when he shot this film. However, what did stand out to me was Misha Barton. I never cared for her much, but acting opposite the truly awful actor who played her love interest, she actually can act. She has this delicate, fragile quality to her acting - she is very good in this film.
