Plane in 1954!


When Chris O'Donald is seen returning to Germany from the states, It looked like he was flying in a C130 which didn't fly until 1956. I think the present
period in the first episode is 1954.

Another silly anachronism. After the crew race the guys are drinking cans of Budweiser that the prop man must have picked up at the 7 Eleven - the can design and fliptops are definitely not 1950s.

I noticed that too, but I didn't get a good look at the can. It looked like they had "white split label" cans. Like the C-130, I think they came a couple of years later. I think the should have had "gold split label" cans.

A couple of years ago, Anheuser-Busch came out with retro cans. It looked like that is what they were using.

The cans were promoted with a product placement in an episode of USA's "The 4400." The scene involed Korean War vets sitting around drinking beer, and one of the vets mentions how the can looks just like when he was in the service.
