Question about the Control-Metal incident *SPOILERS*

In series one when Sho's control metal gets ripped out... he momentarily transforms into some sort of lump and rushes at the Zoanoid... what the hell was that? He looked like a zoanoid himself...

thanks

It was a homage to a chapter in the manga where the arm that Enzyme 1 bit off regenerated a new body, and it's Bio-boosted form was that creature.

it was a controversial chapter that's why no new version of the series has shown it.

That was two things. First, and most important to the plot, it was the Guyver unit consuming Sho due to the lack of anything to keep it in check(that's one of the primary functions of the Control Metal).

Secondly, it was a tribute to a scene in the manga during the same battle, in which Sho's severed arm transforms into an imperfect clone.
