Two things:

1. The bar is called Monkey Wrench......... also the name of possibly the best foo fighters song, "Monkey Wrench" - possibly some kind of homage?

2. When Charlie first meets Gus in the bar and he discusses the blackmail idea he gets a handful of smarties/m&m's and he asks him to pick the red or blue one......... erm, hello????? A rip off of the Matrix anyone???!

Thought the film was good if not a bit too twisting with everyone double crossing each other culminating in a very good final scene!

Best thing about the film was undoubtedly the soundtrack!

Okay, the phrase "monkey wrench" is much older than the Foo Fighters. Also, if you had not picked up on the INTENTIONAL mocking of the Matrix, I would wonder what was wrong with you.
Yes, too twisting. Yes, it tried too hard. It was prob 6.5/10.

uh yeah, they weren't RIPPING OFF the matrix.. if the matrix never existed the scene would have made no sense at all. It was very intentional.

Yeah, the term "monkey wrench" has been used since at least the 1800's, so I'm going to gander it wasn't a FF reference.

Anyone else notice? Are you serious, the Matrix
spoof was so intentional. Great movie though.

They are M&M's. Smarties are not at all like M&M's.

Don't know anything about that trash called The Matrix. It was stupid because he didn't need them to make his decision.
