Praise the lord!

Apparently, it turned out that there is a "made in Poland" movie that is actaully very good!
During past few years there have been some good Polish movies, but they would be probably not understood in different countries, as they were about Polish realia. But Survivor's Square is universal.
It shows how it is easy to lose everything that we care about. Amazing, how little things, gestures and words can lead to a real drama. Fantastic acting, especially Ewa Wencel as Teresa and Jowita Miondlikowska as Beata.
I really hope Survivor's Square will do well on film festivals and will be released in other countries :)

Zoska, the movie was depressing and quite boring... I hope it's not the best thing the Polish cinema can offer to the world.
