What is with Crucifix spaceships and the French?
I've seen about three pieces of French sci-fi, and every single one of them rolled with a giant floating space crucifix. Ship, station - doesn't matter. It's always not just built that way, but portrayed AS a crucifix. I honestly forgot the 3rd piece's name (it was a short film), but between this an Alien Resurrection.. I don't get it. In particular when said ships are run down military, prison or corporate installations.
Do the French just really have a huge complex for flying space crosses or what?
